Summary

This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Operations Division, Office of Technology & Innovation. The incumbent serves as a Senior Cybersecurity Network Architect working to research, design, monitor, and implement secure data networks, cloud network designs, and engineering and associated systems based on stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities

As an IT Specialist (Senior Cybersecurity Network Architect), you will:

  • Serve as principal technical expert for cloud networks and develops secure, end-to-end cloud network architecture.
  • Research, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions for systems and products in compliance with CFPB's applicable security policies and standards.
  • Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions, including network security, configuration management, storage security, and identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) based on security policies to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Design and architect Multiprotocol Layer Switching (MPLS) networks, working with Wide Area Network (WAN) provider, and directing the work of T&I contractors.
