Summary
This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Enforcement. Enforcement's mission is to aggressively and consistently enforce Federal consumer financial laws to protect consumers from harm, including by partnering with other federal and state agencies.
Responsibilities
As a Supervisory Attorney-Adviser (Assistant Deputy Enforcement Director for Policy and Strategy), you will:
- Oversee and facilitate Enforcement's coordination with Supervision, including as to prioritization, exam support, legal analysis, exam findings, letters and reports, remedial action, and policies and procedures.
- Manage Enforcement's exam support function, including work assignments within Enforcement and oversees, tracks, and reviews ongoing coordination with Supervision.
- Assist Enforcement's Deputy Director for Policy and Strategy in overseeing and facilitating monitoring for emerging consumer risks, including through market monitoring, complaint analysis, and external coordination; and assists in overseeing and facilitating the identification of, recommendations for, and implementation of opportunities for investigation and enforcement activity.
