CFPB FinEx Webinar: Spotting & avoiding financial fraud

Losing money to frauds and scams can be devastating! The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and other government agencies have free resources that can help consumers to prevent, recognize, and report scams and frauds. This webinar covered a variety of types of scams including crypto and romance scams.

We had representatives from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Security & Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). They presented on scams they have been working to combat and the resources they have available to help consumers identify, prevent, report, and recover from financial scams and fraud.
