Save the Date: CFPB to hold hearing on contract for deed in the Twin Cities

On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 11:00 am EDT (10:00 am CDT), the CFPB will host a hearing on contract for deed financing at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul Campus.

Members of the public will hear from CFPB Director Rohit Chopra; state and local elected leaders; and legal, advocacy, and policy experts, who will discuss the challenges that consumers are experiencing with contract for deed and other forms of alternative financing.
