This session was a panel discussion on the potential risks of solar financing. The panelists included:

  • Martin Kleinbard (Senior Fellow of Markets & Policy, Markets, CFPB)
  • Shirley Chiu (Senior Litigation Counsel, Enforcement, CFPB)
  • Diane Standaert (Senior Engagement & Policy Fellow, Consumer Populations, CFPB)
  • Alfred Ripley (Senior Counsel, Enforcement Policy and Strategy, CFPB)

The CFPB convenes enforcement agencies across the government – including federal agencies, state attorneys, general, and state insurance commissioners – to sharpen our combined efforts to ensure consumers are protected. We’ve hosted trainings and briefings on numerous consumer financial protection topics, including crypto-asset scams, and how to address algorithmic harms. If you’d like to be included in future convenings, please email IGA@cfpb.gov.
