CFPB v. Certified Forensic Loan Auditors, et al
The Bureau found that Certified Forensic Loan Auditors, LLC (CA) and Certified Forensic Loan Auditors (TX) (collectively CFLA), and Andrew Lehman (collectively Defendants) engaged in deceptive and abusive acts or practices in violation of the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 (CFPA) and charged unlawful advance fees in connection with the marketing and selling financial advisory and mortgage assistance relief services to consumers in violation of Regulation O and the CFPA.
Victim compensation
